PALOUSE GOLD MEAD - $12.00 |
|
A delicate all-honey wine. Palouse Gold is produced from Idaho Star Thistle Honey. Unlike English and Irish Meads that is strong, thick, high alcohol and very sweet, our Palouse Gold Mead is crafted to be a delicate dessert wine style mead. At 9% residual sugar, it goes well with simple desserts such as New York style cheesecake, pound cake, or fresh fruit. Serve well chilled.
Award-winning wine: 2007 Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits—Bronze Medal 2008 Dallas Morning News Wine Competition—Bronze Medal |

STRAWBERRY HONEY MEAD - $13.50 |
|
Fermented in small lots, each 50-gallon batch of mead uses 15 gallons of local berries and 12 gallons of Idaho honey. These are not generic sweet pink wines, but fresh fruit in a glass. Enjoy your favorite by the glass to be sipped as an enhancement to dessert, quiet time, or vacation conversation.
